The OMS Public Safety Backplate is made of stainless steel and weighs 2.08 kg. The Backpate has slots above and below for one  50mm harness strap and / or harness pad.  There are also slots for two bottle straps.  A slot for a crotch strap 50mm and a slot for a crotch strap 25mm are located on the lower side of the backplate.
 
 Various holes on the edges guarantee that equipment can be securely attached.
